Basic Instructions:

In Flemecoin's launch stage, it is only purchased using Flare ($FLR), using the Flare-centric Exchange Sparkdex.ai.

  1. Buy Flare ($FLR) on your favorite crypto exchange, such as Coinbase, Kraken, or Uphold.

  2. Place the $FLR in a supporting wallet of your choice, such as Bifrost, MetaMask, or others.

  3. Go to https://sparkdex.ai/swap.

  4. Click "Connect" to connect your wallet. Approve the connection.

  5. For the top box named "sell", select FLR or WFLR (Wrapped Flare $WFLR is optional).

  6. For the bottom box named "buy", Select "FLEME". You can use the search box to find $FLEME.

  7. Enter in the amount of FLR or WFLR that you wish to use in the top box.

  8. Change slippage as needed:

Important: If purchasing at or near launch, you will need to change slippage to a higher percentage, such as 5%-8%. Use the using the gear icon to access slippage settings. This is a result of large price movements for early trades. Your swap transaction may fail using default slippage.

  9. Click "Swap". Approve the transaction in your wallet.

  10. Import the Flemecoin contract address into your wallet:

Important: While Flemecoin is new, you will need to manually import the $FLEME contract address into your wallet in order to see the $FLEME tokens you purchase. The Flemecoin contract address is: 0x07246FA3c19E5d265AFd8CAfFD64396B22E6582A

  11. Sit back and hold! Flemecoin was built for the top, and you are very, very early.

How does a new token sale work?

All new tokens begin by launching on a single Blockchain network such as Ethereum or Solana or Flare. Flemecoin ($FLEME) is launching on Flare Networks using the native cryptocurrency of the Flare Networks blockchain: $FLR. The choice of the launch network does not restrict how a token can grow and only affects how it is initially traded. Once $FLEME grows and becomes listed on major exchanges, the host network will become completely transparent and will trade using standard currency pairs such as USDT. If you are purchasing $FLEME through its Flare listing on Sparkdex.ai (see details below), that means you are early. That's good thing. A very, very good thing.

Launching on Flare Networks was a strategic decision. Flare Networks launched in 2022, as a next-generation, fully decentralized layer-1 blockchain. It offers the same benefits as Ethereum or Solana, but with faster transaction speeds, significantly lower costs, and innovative first-of-its-kind solutions. Today Flare has over 1.4 million active wallet addresses and processes 500,000 transactions a day. They are well established and highly regarded.

To acquire $FLR, use a reputable cryptocurrency exchange such as Coinbase, Uphold, Kraken, or other global platforms. You will also need a crypto wallet on your mobile device to receive and store your $FLR, which you will use to swap for $FLEME on a Decentralized Exchange (DEX). Leading wallet options include Bifrost and MetaMask, with additional supported choices available.

FAQs

  1. Who is Flare Networks why did you launch there?
I've been active in crypto since 2017 and have my favorites. Flare Networks is a next-generation, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain powered by a highly efficient decentralized consensus model with first-of-its-kind infrastructure. Launched in 2022, Flare Networks now supports over 1.4 million wallet addresses and processes nearly 500,000 transactions per day, with average transaction times of 1.6 seconds and fees under one cent. It’s a robust, efficient, and developer-friendly ecosystem that’s great to build on.

Ultimately, the underlying network becomes irrelevant once a token is listed on a major exchange. Until then, Fleme will trade on SparkDEX.ai, a DEX built for Flare.

  2. Who is Sparkdex? Are they safe? Why are you launching there?
New tokens typically launch on a decentralized exchange (DEX) to begin trading. Because Flemecoin is launching on Flare Networks, it requires a DEX that supports trading in $FLR. SparkDEX is one of the most widely used and fastest-growing platforms on Flare, attracting tens of thousands of users and generating over $100 million in total value locked and billions in trading volume in 2025 (link).

This growth is the result of SparkDEX offering a strong suite of services that prioritize project safety, liquidity protection, and long-term sustainability. It is well respected within the Flare community and maintains a close relationship with the Flare Networks team (link).

While the long-term goal is to list on major centralized exchanges (CEXs) like Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and Uphold, the journey begins with SparkDEX.

  3. Why do we have to search for the contract address in SparkDex?
Once $FLEME grows, it will become available without needing to provide the contract address. For brand-new tokens this is how you identify what you want to trade and ensure that you are trading the right token.

  4. Why do some people use wFLR, should I use FLR or wFLR?
Many experienced Flare community members will use wrapped Flare (wFLR) by default, because wrapped Flare earns rewards within Flare Networks Delegation system, similar to bank interest payments. People tend to leave their Flare wrapped throughout the ecosystem as they are both treated as the same underlying asset. During the swap, the exchange treats them equally, there is no price difference between the two. Use whatever you are most comfortable using.

  5. I bought FLEME but I dont see it in my wallet!!
Don't worry. If your swap transaction was successful, you own your $FLEME. If the swap failed, you own all of your original $FLR or $wFLR.

Most often, the transaction was successful, but your wallet is simply not aware of $FLEME, and you need to import the FLEME contract address to your wallets memory:

Bifrost: Hit the transaction arrow at the bottom, tap "receive", enter $FLEME contract address in the search bar, select FLEME.
MetaMask: Tap "Import Tokens", select Flare Network, then enter the $FLEME contract address, select FLEME.

The other option is that your swap transaction failed. If that is the case, you will have the same amount of $FLR or $wFLR that you started with. You can look in your transaction history to see exactly what happened:

Bifrost: Select the token you used (FLR or wFLR) from the homescreen to see the history. Select recent transactions to see the details.
MetaMask: Select the token you used (FLR or wFLR) from the homescreen. Scroll to the bottom to see transaction history. Select transactions for details.
